Rainer Wiens is a musician focusing on prepared guitar and lamellaphones (plucked idiophones from Africa, called sanza or thumb piano, likembe, mbira or kalimba). He was born in Germany and is currently living in Montréal. He is uncomfortable with the idea of using bios to drop names and impress people.
